I am a double-boarded family and psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Rush University of Chicago. I have been involved in psychiatric nursing for nearly 30 years and have practiced as a Nurse Practitioner for nine years. I provide a variety of therapy services, including CBT, psychotherapy, addiction, anxiety, and grief counseling. Psychotropic medication management is my specialty. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Dr Brown is the best! From the moment we started the visit I knew I had found the right psychiatrist. He listens and tries to get to the root of the issue and not just treat the symptoms. I would recommend him a thousand times over.

Dr. Brown is very down to earth and straight forward. I have known him from another platform and followed him to this one. Therapy was/is a scary thing for me and he completely understands that and has great patience and has met me where I am and is moving at my pace while still challenging me. I would choose him every time.
