He has performed numerous assessments for various entities, including school districts, the Veteran’s Administration, family courts, and private practice, with a focus on neurodevelopmental, neurocognitive, and psychogenic issues, such as mood disorders and trauma and stressor related disorders. Dr. D’Alessandro received his doctor in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford. His training in assessment encompasses psycho-educational, forensic, and neuropsychological evaluations, gained through externships and internships at institutions like the Whiting Forensic Institute at Connecticut Valley Hospital and the Anxiety Disorder Center at the institute of Living. He completed his predoctoral internship at the Duchess County Department of Mental Hygiene in Poughkeepsie, New York where he gained experience in a community mental health center, a family court and a head Start preschool program.
