James Kirk is a chiropractic physician and director of the NorthEast Spine & Sports Medicine office in Barnegat, New Jersey. He earned his doctor of chiropractic (D.C.) degree in December of 2000 from New York Chiropractic College and has been with NorthEast Spine & Sports Medicine since 2005.
Dr. Kirk has gone on to achieve post graduate certifications in electrodiagnostic testing and is board certified to perform Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS). He also holds postgraduate certifications in Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA), Clinical Biomechanics of Posture (CBP) and Musculoskeletal (MSK) diagnostic ultrasound. He is a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC) and was named a Top Doctor by NJ Top Docs in 2017.
Dr. Kirk specializes in spinal rehabilitation that includes restoring posture, biomechanics and disc decompression therapy. He has found that when the multi-specialty NorthEast Spine & Sports Medicine approach to care is integrated, most patient’s experience better, faster and longer lasting results. Dr. Kirk’s ultimate goal is to restore patients to their lifestyle prior to injury, allowing them to live happier and healthier lives.
