This is a fine doctor.
He is a great listener and very helpful.
Zoc Doc needs to update Dr.Nininger's new address.He was cordial to respond to my phone call,make a new appointment date,and inform me of his new address.I informed the doorman and they were utterly surprised.
Great! Comprehensive! Caring!
The Zocdoc website did not have the correct up to date address and so the first appointment was dissolved. Upon a return call directly from Dr Nininger, The doctor informed us of the change in address to the 88th street location and so the first appointment was adjourned to 10/29/19. Zocdoc will need to update the stated address from 240 Central Park south to 275 Central Park west 1W and cancel the appointment and Billings caused by the misstated address.
First visit, a great deal to begin covering, but he did a fine job of getting the information he needed to begin laying the foundation of a very long and complex set of issues. I realize that I tend to hold physicians to unreasonably high standards, but I was very impressed by his knowledge and the way he took information at an intelligent pace, very much aware that there are several decades to get through. I very much look forward to my next appointment, and to continue getting help from him. I have a very good feeling about him.
I had a great visit, very knowledgable doctor. He takes the time to listen and make good suggestions and give great professional advise.
Dr. Nininger was cordial and professional. He asked relevant questions and had an easy-going manner, making it really easy to talk to him/
I had a good first impression of Dr. Nininger. He was thorough in the initial evaluation and seems to have genuine concern for his clients.
Very thorough intake exam.
It was a great visit;
Personally, I don't think people should find a mental health professional through ratings as it is, well, personal process and unique to the needs of the individual. i also believe that it can really be about what you bring to the appointment. It isn't easy finding quality healthcare especially when most doctors advise according to that manual and 'those' criteria which seem to be due to the complicated insurance bourgeoise which is in place. How in the world am I expected to rate a psychiatrist after having met him only twice, anyways..that's like giving someone a StRoNG pharma medicine after one meeting. IMHO and experience, psychiatry can actually have real serious negative consequences - leaving a person worse off I have worked with some heavyweights and want to find a good fit. When my i can afford to I plan to schedule a third appointment with dr Nininger because I want to make my father happy (which I'm way too old to be worrying about but it's complicated). I'd rather be snowboarding or out on my bike , but I will proceed with follow up review if only for my own sake Good luck to you
Patience, Listening, and understanding. All the traits that you want from a professional in this field, and Dr. James Nininger has all those traits and more. We were very lucky to see him.
The Dr was professional and courteous. He definitely needs to update his insurance coverage. This was a deterrent in me particularly seeing him as, he states he takes Medicare but, he expected payment upfront. He saw me but, under the presumption that he will submit it to Medicare. I cannot pay the fee if this doesn't work. I am not responsible for payment as I was misinformed. Brigid
Dr. Nininger is a dream come true. He has a kindness that you hope to find in every doctor. I have never been so comfortable so quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Nininger.
Dr. Nininger is very personable, warm and professional. I've never felt rushed! He allows you the time needed to talk about your problem. He is completely attentive and makes you feel confident that he will resolve your issues! You just know he won't give up until he does. I always leave his office feeling better!
