About Jami Zimmerman

"I am a Registered Dietitian currently based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. I previously worked in a New York City public hospital helping patients daily from all around the world and love providing helpful nutrition recommendation tailored to patient's culture and lifestyle. I saw early on how food impacted societies. Food is a foundation for not only health and wellness, but celebration, connection and happiness. I spent time studying abroad in Morocco at a kitchen whose mission was to employ women and provide both income and education in an area where women's education is typically hard to find. Shortly after, I flew to India to volunteer for an organization providing food and nutrition education to children of New Delhi. This is when I decided to commence my journey to become a Registered Dietitian. I earned my Masters in Public Health concentrating in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Heels!). During my time at Chapel Hill, I also worked as a personal trainer and helped clients set and achieve their wellness goals. I'm excited to work with you to achieve your health and wellness goals!"
