About Dr. Jamie Lowery
Jamie Lowery is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Maine and completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with Summa Cum Laude distinction at Simmons University, specializing in Family Nursing. Jamie further advanced her education by obtaining a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of New Hampshire. She is also an Advanced Nurse Injector for cosmetics and a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Lowery's specialty areas include skin cancer detection and women's health issues such as adult acne, GYN dermatology, hair loss, and anti-aging cosmetics. Jamie worked diligently with the legislature in Maine to pass a law restricting indoor tanning for minors under the age of 18, a measure that had been attempted multiple times before finally passing in 2019.

I booked an appt. for a full body check and removal of benign lesions. Jamie was patient and took the time to explain to me exactly what each skin lesion was called and how best to treat it. She was prompt, professional and listened to my concerns without rushing me.
I definitely will return again to see Jamie for a body check each year and for any other skin concerns I might have at other times.
