About Jamie Price

Jamie Price is board certified by the NCCPA and is a physician associate specializing in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. She earned her Bachelor's in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University and completed her clinical training at Lenox Hill Hospital. Mrs. Price began her medical career in 2007 in emergency medicine, working in various emergency departments and trauma centers over the last decade. This experience has strengthened her overall medical knowledge, particularly enhancing her surgical skill set.
Her artistic roots stem from working with and learning from several of the best plastic surgeons. As a trained aesthetic injector, she performs a variety of cosmetic procedures, including but not limited to Botox and dermal fillers. Mrs. Price strives for perfection while achieving natural results for her patients. With a strong passion for dermatology, she began her career in MOHS surgery (specialized surgical treatment of skin cancers), where she refined her suturing techniques. She treats a wide array of common to complex skin conditions in pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly patients. In addition to office visits, when available, she performs skin cancer screenings for various neighboring towns throughout the year.
Mrs. Price is a warm, compassionate PA, wife, and mother of two. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors with her family.

Kind of disappointed , my first time at a dermatologist after struggling with some skin concerns for years . Front desk staff was super friendly and I was seen in a timely manner . Met the doctor and everything just felt rushed . Just told me that everything would go away on its own after explaining they were problems ive had for a while , didn’t go into detail on anything and I felt brushed off when it came to my concerns . Gave me a coupon for lotion ? And sent me on my way , appointment was less than 5 minutes total .

She spent approx 5 mins to listen to me, visually inspect my skin from a distance and quickly concluded that it’s acne that can appear suddenly at any age. I didn’t believe this was tre due to many reasons which pointed to an allergic reaction vs. acne. I do not think the doctor did a thorough job and simply put my on an expensive topical ointment. I would not recommend this doctor.

Very courteous staff and the doctor performed a full exam and prescribed a course of action to address the issue. Only upset was ZocDoc said the doctor accepted my insurance and was advised by the office they don’t have approval to accept the insurance yet so a bit costly. Maybe ZocDoc could update the providers page to show the correct insurances accepted
