I am a dedicated and passionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10+ years of nursing experience. Before pursuing graduate education, I gained valuable experience in various nursing roles, which significantly contributed to my professional development. My background includes working in drug and alcohol inpatient rehabilitation center, as well as serving in a well-known hospital mental health clinic and inpatient psychiatric unit that specialized in treating co-occurring disorders. These diverse clinical environments provided me with meaningful insights and skills that have shaped my approach to patient care.
My focus is on delivering accessible and compassionate care to patients at different stages of their mental health journeys, including those experiencing chronic mental illness such as bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, mood disorders- depression, anxiety disorders, Impulse disorders, ADHD, and neurocognitive disorders.
