I previously provided psychiatric care within high-volume Veterans Affairs health systems, often working with medically complex patients. I also served as a women’s mental health subject-matter expert, with a focus on reproductive psychiatry and trauma-informed care. In addition to treating patients, I have taught and precepted physician assistant students in psychiatry. I earned both my undergraduate degree in biology and my physician assistant degree from Seton Hall University. I then completed a postgraduate psychiatry residency through the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and Baylor College of Medicine, training in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and consult-liaison psychiatry. At Zellig Psychiatry, I provide thoughtful, evidence-based care built around careful assessment and an individualized treatment plan. We’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing and identify treatment options that fit your symptoms, medical history, preferences, and goals.
