About Janene Levy-Still
Mrs. Levy-Still obtained her Master’s Degree in Nursing, with the concentration of Family Nurse Practitioner from Bowie State University in May 2014.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she was an ICU/CCU nurse for 15 years at Sinai Hospital. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Howard Community College in 1999, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Bowie State University in 2003.
Prior to becoming an RN, she obtained her LPN certificate in 1998 from Howard Community College, and worked in the neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric intensive care unit, and pediatric units at Sinai Hospital for one year.
Prior to becoming an LPN, she obtained her Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certificate in 1990 and Emergency Medical Technician Certificate in 1994, both from Baltimore City Community College. She is board-certified by The American Nurse’s Credentialing Center.

Prior to actually meeting Dr Levy-Still I was not happy and was ready to walk out. The wait time was over an hour but I was a new patient so I had a lot of paper work to fill out so it was no big deal. The main problem was watching patients sitting in the Lobby not wearing mask and coughing. I had to ask a patient to put her mask on, which she did. I also saw staff members without masks, that's what scared me and made me want to leave. The omicron variant is EXTREMELY contagious. Seeing staff members without mask made me want to run out, but I stayed because I really needed to see a doctor for my annual exams. I discussed the mask issue with Dr. Levy-Still. She was aware and said she would look into it. As far as Dr. Levey-Still is concerned, I have no complaints. She was very professional. She was very thorough in her examination and answered all of my questions. I felt all of my needs had been addressed when i left her office. I am willing to go back because I really like Dr. Levy-Still, but if I continue to see people not wearing mask and feel unsafe I won't continue to go there.

Dr. Still was friendly but the office environment was not what I was expecting. Dr Still gave me the information I was looking for only after I asked for it. Her communication skills could have been a lot better. She may have been having an off day, but I did not have a good experience. I had to wait for almost an hour and there was a lot of confusion about the paperwork that I filled out online. The staff was very unhelpful and seemed very confused. It just didn't seem like a very professional environment. A lot of the staff members were not wearing masks, a lot of people coming in and out were also not masked which made me uncomfortable. Unfortunately I won't be going back.

I had such a great time with Dr. Levy-Still. Although it was my first visit, she made me feel so comfortable in her office. She showed genuine care about my concerns and was very easy to talk to. Looking forward to my next appt!

Yes I am going back. I was able to connect with my new PCP instantly. She heard my concerns and was able to address them. She speaks my language and because of that, there was no beating around the bush. She handle my issues like a Champ!!!!

Janene Levy-Still is the first medical professional I have met that didn't just listen to my concerns, but actively took what I was saying and went above and beyond. In the past, I have had single concerns identified and medicated but Janene heard me and my experiences and had me take assessments. She identified some bigger key pieces that were missing and is treating everything, not just single issues.
Getting to sit across from a medical professional who genuinely cares about me was a revolutionary experience. She asked upfront about how these things have impacted my intimacy with sexual partners. I have had to beg providers to care about my libido as a person who was assigned female at birth.
Janene Levy-Still, NP is a breath of fresh air and has given me so much hope in my emotional health journey.
