I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of combined healthcare experience. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from George Mason University. My expertise includes both inpatient and outpatient mental health services, as well as acute care in internal medicine. Currently, I offer telepsychiatry services to patients aged 18 and older. I am dedicated to helping my clients manage their mental well-being through an integrative, evidence-based approach that incorporates medication management, psychotherapy, and psychoeducation during each session.

What should a new client know about working with you?

It is my belief that while diagnosis is given to guide the treatment process, each client is unique. I strive to collaborate with each client in creating personalized treatment plans to help achieve optimal health outcomes. I am keen on providing a supportive, trusting and encouraging atmosphere for all clients. The aim of each session is to empower clients to move their transitioning from “survival” perspective to “thriving” through an evidenced based array of care focused on mind, body, and soul. What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our initial appointment is the stage to build rapport, listen thoroughly to your concerns, needs and wants all in an effort to complete a comprehensive assessment to help in formulating diagnosis to help guide collaborative treatment plan. All sessions are completed online via video at the convenience of your home.Typical sessions include but not limited to diagnosis, medication management, brief therapy and psychoeducation. Diagnosis: Our thorough assessment process provides accurate and comprehensive diagnoses to guide personalized treatment plans. Medication Management: Our experienced clinicians ensure optimal medication effectiveness and safety through diligent monitoring and adjustments. Brief Therapy: Our focused interventions offer effective solutions to specific concerns, promoting rapid progress and symptom relief. Psychoeducation: We empower individuals with valuable knowledge through informative sessions, enhancing their understanding of their conditions.
