Welcome to Tender Embrace Wellness. With over 25 years of experience as a nurse, including 14 years owning and operating an Adult Foster Home for the mentally challenged, I bring expertise and compassion to every interaction.
My educational journey reflects my unwavering commitment to excellence: I earned my Associate's Degree in Nursing from Wayne County Community College District, my Bachelor's degree from South University, and both my Master's in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees from Northern Kentucky University, where I specialized as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
My practice philosophy is rooted in holism, recognizing the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I am dedicated to providing comprehensive, solution-oriented care that empowers clients to achieve true wellness and fulfillment. With experience in both hospital and telepsych settings, I am equipped to meet the diverse needs of my clients. My focus areas include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder, with a particular emphasis on dual diagnosis, as reflected in my DNP graduate thesis.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
