Hi! My name is Janine. I am a wife, mother, and psychotherapist specializing in Anxiety, Postpartum Mood Disorders, and Relationship Issues. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Marriage, and Family Therapy from Antioch University – Los Angeles.
I believe that through authentic connection, openness, and the humor and joy that often arise during our time together, we can work collaboratively to help you face life’s challenges.
I am collaborative, conversational, and transparent. I share my own thoughts and insights, inviting discussion, self-reflection, and processing. Together, we will work to help you gain insight, understanding, and acceptance of yourself. My priority is to provide a judgment-free space where you can come as you are and feel validated and seen.
We will collaborate to set goals, use evidence-based techniques, and develop a plan to help you achieve those goals. I will provide you with tools to cope with difficult feelings, regulate your emotions, and find healing. It would be my honor to join you on your journey toward living your best life!

What is your typical process for working with clients?
Sessions are weekly, 50 minutes, I provide talk therapy.

Janine is the most amazing person to work with! I honestly can’t recommend her enough. From the start, she made me feel really heard and supported. She creates a safe space where I can talk openly, and her kindness and insight have helped me work through some tough times.
What I really appreciate about Janine is how she balances empathy with offering practical advice. She’s made such a positive impact on my life, and I’m so grateful for all the progress I’ve made with her help.

I am so fortunate to have Janine as my therapist. We began working together about two years ago and she has helped me transform my relationship with myself and with others. Janine creates a safe space in her practice, which allows me to embrace myself fully.
I was hesitant to go to therapy, because it hadn’t worked before, but I knew I needed help. So I went and at first I was a little closed off. Janine respected that, which slowly helped me trust her. I think this is what makes her a great therapist, she respects boundaries and in doing so teaches me how to have good boundaries.
She also has an intercultural understanding, which was really important to me as I immigrated to the states as a kid, and sometimes it’s hard to explain cultural norms. But Janine just gets it.
She’s the best!!
