JMA Mental Health and Psychiatric Services LLC offers convenient psychiatric treatment through a telehealth platform. The central goal of telehealth treatment is to meet clients where they are, address their individual needs, and eliminate barriers caused by lack of transportation to healthcare facilities. Services include psychiatric evaluation, medication treatment and management, and crisis support.
I am a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Maryland. I have practiced as a nurse practitioner for 8 years and have 15 years of nursing experience. My nursing career began as a Naval Officer in the United States Navy, where I worked in psychiatry and maternal-infant care. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have extensive experience treating clients in inpatient adult psychiatric settings, partial hospitalization, outpatient and residential programs, the jail system, public schools, and over 7 years in telehealth nursing. I have managed up to six clinics simultaneously in the telehealth setting. I treat clients aged 5 to 65 years and address all psychiatric disorders; however, for telehealth, I accept treatment for anxiety, major depression, bipolar disorder, and pediatric psychiatric disorders including attention deficit disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, developmental disorders, and separation anxiety.
My goal is to engage clients in treatment by building rapport and educating them to become their own best advocates. I am committed to helping each client gain a sense of wholeness through human connection and psychiatric care. I am currently accepting clients.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
