About Jannyle Macdula
Born and raised in Vallejo, California, Jay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Sonoma State University. He relocated to Las Vegas in 2004 with his high school sweetheart and has proudly called southern Nevada home for over two decades. Jay began his healthcare journey at the College of Southern Nevada, where he obtained CNA licensure, followed by an Associate Degree in Nursing and RN licensure. For 18 years, he worked as a registered nurse in critical care, emergency, trauma, nursing education, outpatient, cardiology, and perioperative services. These diverse roles provided him with extensive experience in high-acuity care, patient education, and clinical leadership.
In June 2025, Jay graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master of Science in Nursing and achieved board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan. His background
in acute care strengthens his ability to deliver expert assessment and management, while his FNP training supports preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness.
Jannyle is happily married and the proud father of two sons, ages 14 and 18. He cherishes family time and enjoys traveling with his wife. In his leisure hours, he finds fulfillment in tinkering in the garage, working on and racing cars, hunting, camping,
fishing, creating with his hands, and cooking for loved ones.
