What should a new client know about working with you?

I use active listening and motivational interviewing to be most understanding to meet your personal treatment goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am focused on ascertaining a working diagnosis in order to deliver safe and evidenced based psychiatric care. I strive to do no harm. When prescribing, I start low (dose) and go slow (to titrate) in order to mitigate any potential medication side effects that may or may not occur. I provide supportive psychotherapy in my sessions.

More information on payments and coverage

I outsource billing through both Headway (for residents of South Carolina) and Alma (for residents of Nevada) so I can focus on providing patient care. This also helps to streamline payments, copays which will be completed through these companies for each appointment. I accept Cigna, United Healthcare, Oscar and Optum for residents of both SC and NV. Whether you are cash pay or using health care insurance, both companies will be able to handle all billing with ease. Your credit card will be requested to place on file with either Headway and/or Alma, depending on which state you reside, and they will be able to charge the practice fees, insurance copays, form/letter fees etc.
