So many people struggle with their mental health but are hesitant to reach out for help. My goal is to create an empathetic and compassionate environment in which my patients feel comfortable opening up and expressing their concerns and feelings. I am board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and have been practicing for over six years. I earned my Bachelor's, Master's, and Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Miami. I believe in a comprehensive approach to understand and treat underlying issues and achieve overall wellness.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Your initial appointment may be 60-90 minutes, depending on the time that we need to formulate a treatment plan that you are comfortable with. Together we will review your medical and mental health history, family history, social history, and any other pertinent information. Please bring a list of all current medications, including over the counter supplements, and any previous records you would like to share.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

She’s a great doc. Only issue is she told me to start two meds at once. And she told me she would email me afterword and never did. She is inconsistent with certain things. I want a doctor who I can reach out to if I need something and I have no way to talk to her because she didn’t email me like she promised. She did a great job giving me proper medication but honestly I’m hesitant to take it because she told me take both at once. IN MY OPINION and my mother who is a Physician said a doctor should never prescribe two meds at once. Overall I’m nervous as hell to start new meds. But I’m trying to be hopeful that the meds will work and listen to a PROFESSIONAL not just my Mom. She can have her opinion doesn’t make her right. Overall I really liked her! I just wish she had emailed me like she said she was going to. Maybe she forgot. Overall I’d give her a good rating. Nice doctor and helpful. Hopefully these meds help me
