He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine and completed his undergraduate studies at Rice University. Dr. Ahuero completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, followed by a fellowship in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at the American Sports Medicine Institute. He is board certified in General Orthopaedics by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
