Getting to know Jason Allen
Jason attended Walden University, which is based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and graduated with his master's degree in nursing in November of 2023. Jason Allen is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. He is certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
I offer an evidence-based, compassionate approach for all psychiatric conditions, including necessary psychotropic or psychotherapeutic treatments. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported and understood, with concerns eased and a clear path forward. My experiences span across children, adolescents, and adults.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I find myself privileged to be able to help other individuals that may be suffering from a mental illness and are seeking help and guidance on their journey. The first step in providing effective mental health treatment is to promote an environment that's soothing and nonjudgmental. I would like all my clients to be in a relaxed state while conversing and deciding on a proper treatment plan that benefits you the most. At the end of the session, all clients should leave with a feeling of peace and confidence.
