About Dr. Jason Galante

Dr. Jason Galante is a graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he earned his Master's degree. He attended medical school at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. He completed his Residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Hoboken University Medical Center, where he was appointed Chief Surgical Resident. Dr. Galante is a double board-certified foot and ankle surgeon and a fellow of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine.
He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and an Associate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Galante is experienced in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, including reconstruction, trauma management, ankle arthroscopy, pediatric reconstruction, and aesthetic foot and ankle surgical techniques. He is also an expert in foot and ankle sports medicine and has had the opportunity to train with the team podiatrist for the NY Giants and NJ Nets. Dr. Galante is certified in Hyperbaric Medicine and specializes in lower extremity limb salvage and wound care.
Dr. Galante is one of the few physicians in New Jersey well versed in cosmetic foot and ankle surgery. His techniques address difficult deformities with minimal scar results. He is truly on the "cutting edge" of aesthetic podiatric treatments. He has also been especially popular with our pediatric patients, emphasizing non-surgical options.
Dr. Galante is passionate about health and fitness and has trained in various martial arts for over 30 years. He is married and lives with his wife, a NYC school teacher, and their children in Brooklyn, NY.
