Dr. Pothast and the office staff are friendly, helpful, and very thorough. Dr. Pothast really listened to my concerns and worked with me to come up with a comprehensive treatment plan. Dr. Pothast takes care of me while my pain management doctor is away. He knows me, knows what to do and I feel so safe with him. He communicates with my PM doctor so I am totally confident he cares andunderstands what I need. He is so kind and I feel so like I truly matter to him.

I was a little nervous because I thought Dr. Pothast was going to shrug of my issues as minor nonsense but was extremely glad he carefully took his time to listen to me and thoroughly examine me. There was no waitingtime and his bedside manner was exceptional. Additionally, I thought most of the staff were friendly and welcoming.

I have seen Dr. Pothast for my back and foot, so it was a no-brainer to take my daughter to him for her knee. He's terrific and has a wonderful manner with teens.

Very knowledgeable about the anatomical mechanics of my child's knee and demonstrated in a clear (almost condescending) way that he could read an MRI. Gave no instructions for how to alleviate the pain or strengthen the joint to recover fromthe injury aside from "if it hurts, don't do it." After two months of doing just that with no improvement, we sought the help of this doctor. I'm sorry we wasted our time. Perhaps if you have an acute injury he can help, but if you are an 8 year old athlete with lingering pain months after an injury, he's not your guy.
