About Dr. Jason Siefferman
Manhattan Pain Medicine offers complete and individualized care for any cause pain, including neck or back problems, sciatica, arthritis, sports injuries and headaches.
We take the time needed to carefully diagnose and treat complex pain conditions. Medications, physical therapy, injections, and alternative options are all considered. We also offer ultrasound examination in the office.
The goal of the initial evaluation is to determine the precise cause(s) of pain or functional impairment. Our treatments then aim to fix the source of the problem, promote healing, prevent recurrence, and restore quality of life.
Jason W. Siefferman, MD is the Medical Director of Manhattan Pain Medicine and triple-board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Headache Medicine. He leads a diagnosis-first, discovery-led program that looks deeper for root causes and builds coordinated, stepwise plans to restore function and confidence.
His clinical focus includes spine and nerve conditions, headache and facial pain with cervical drivers, pelvic and pudendal neuralgia, joint hypermobility and instability, and neuromodulation. Treatment plans may include image-guided injections, radiofrequency ablation, peripheral and spinal cord stimulation, targeted medications, and movement-based rehabilitation, with careful tracking of outcomes.

As always another great experience with Dr. Siefferman and his team. I had multiple issues that were really stressing me out heading into the appointment and they were each addressed thoroughly and professionally. Virtually every other doctor I’ve seen hasn’t allowed me to feel like I have a voice and it’s made me feel like I’m being “run-over” and disregarded. This is not so with Dr. Siefferman and it makes all the difference in the world.

Dr. Siefferman is an incredible doctor! He is extremely diligent and knowledgeable. It feels like you are his only patient. He invests a lot of time and effort into your injuries and concerns. I did not find these wonderful qualities with other pain specialists before, who were always rushed and somewhat annoyed with my questions about my injuries and possible recovery methods. He explains everything: Why you were injured, and how to get back on track again. It is not filled with convoluted medical jargon. Everything makes sense, and every challenge also seems viable. I also felt the best in more than a year with my injury after his treatments. He follows up, and he remains invested in his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Siefferman!

This wasn’t my first visit with Dr. Siefferman, but we always the care I received and time/thought he dedicated to my case during my appointment was beyond compare. I have a somewhat complicated condition and prior to finding Dr. Siefferman I felt so stuck, hopeless and overwhelmed. I highly recommend him for anyone with pain issues. Dr. Siefferman identified my issue immediately and referred me to several physical therapists to choose from. In addition, he showed me several exercises to get started with right in his office. Dr. Siefferman is just AWESOME. He is very good at diagnostics which is very important to any doctor but especially for pain management! I struggled with pain for 14+ years and seen dozens of doctors but only Dr. Siefferman was able to diagnose correctly and help my pain by 80-90%. I'm on a road to full recovery and pain-free life!

Dr. Siefferman has made a huge difference in my life. He is intuitive, compassionate and incredibly well versed in the subject of pain management and the causes of pain. His goal is to address and relieve the causes of pain, not simply to recommend medications to treat the symptoms. For the first time in more than 30 years I am free of pain medications thanks to him, and I am feeling very well indeed.

Dr. Siefferman was great! He helped identify issues with my wrist and back and went through potential treatment, including considering costs.
My only complaint is with Zocdoc, which showed him as "in-network" for my insurance, although he's not. He takes my insurance as out-of- network, and Zocdoc doesn't give an option for this. Dr. Siefferman was very kind and worked with me so that the consultation was affordable and worked with me on the cost of possible follow ups.
