“The whole experience was a breeze…From scheduling online , being able to be seen within 2 days from scheduling. The reminders (there’s no way you should forget your appointment lol). The office staff were very friendly,didn’t have attitudes and even greeted me by my name!Office was clean and I got seen right away! Ms J was very welcoming, patient,understanding and seems to be a very caring doctor. I love how she even challenged me on my first visit and gave me homework ????. About Dr. Jatu Karpeh
We accept cash payments and offer membership services to patients without insurance. I am a family nurse practitioner and owner of Middle River Healthcare. I have spent most of my young adult life in the Essex and Middle River area after relocating from Albany, New York. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Coppin State University in 2008 and later completed my Master of Science in Family Nursing at Chamberlain University, Chicago, Illinois. I also hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Liberty University. I am nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a family nurse practitioner and am currently a member of Sigma Theta Tau. I have worked in several renowned hospitals and clinics in Maryland, including the University of Maryland Medical System, Franklin Square Hospital, Bayview Hospital, Howard General Hospital, Daniel R. Howard, PA, and Baltimore Healthcare PC.

The office staff are the friendliest and the doctor is fantastic. Between the doctors office and zocdoc you will be overwhelmed with emails. 12 emails, 8 texts, and 2 phone calls in 3 days before the appointment and since the appointment yesterday, 5 emails and 2 texts. It’s a lot.

This is by far the most comfortable I’ve been with any gynecologist. I was informed of everything being done before touched. I had the most thorough check up I’ve ever had in the past. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be returning for sure!
