About Dr. Javier Ponce

Dr. Javier Ponce, DPM, has been an active podiatrist in the Newark community for over 20 years. Dr. Ponce specializes in the diagnosing and treating of foot and ankle disorders, including care of the diabetic feet, treatment of diseased toenails, ingrown toenails, heel spur pain among other things. Dr. Ponce has a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in chemistry from the Worcester State College and he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now known as Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine). He also completed a Podiatric Orthopedic Residency program at the East Orange VA Medical Center
