About Dr. Jay Hendrix
Dr. Hendrix studied Internal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine before returning to Texas to specialize in Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
He has practiced Dermatology in Austin since 1992. He is a past President of the Austin Dermatological Society and is active in the Texas Dermatological Society.
He has for many years been named among the best physicians in Texas by Texas Monthly magazine and has been named one of the top four dermatologists in Austin by US News and World Report magazine.

Front office staff and back office staff were very nice and made me feel welcome. They were warm and greeted me with a smile. Dr. Hendrix was very warm and kind. I appreciated that he introduced himself and shook my hand. He made me feel comfortable which helped since I was a little bit nervous. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend this doctor.
