Dr. Jayne Andrade, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
GA
Making the decision to seek mental health care is difficult, yet very important. Thank you for making that brave choice to seek help. I am a doctoral-prepared, double board-certified nurse practitioner in psychiatry and family practice who advocates for patients and empowers them to become active in their care. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of West Georgia, my Master's in Family Nursing from Walden University, a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Georgia Southern University, and my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Valdosta State University. I began my nursing career in 2001 and have worked in multiple clinical settings with a diverse population of patients. Through these experiences, I developed a passion for managing mental health concerns, which led me to pursue certification in psychiatry. Patients can expect comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, brief psychotherapy, follow-up evaluations, and medication management. I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment while creating personalized, patient-centered treatment plans. My goal is to make every patient feel safe, heard, understood, supported, and respected every step of the way.
