About Dr. Jayne Bird
Jayne Bird is a board-certified dermatologist, who specializes in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. She completed her dermatology residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, during which she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Bird gained a rich experience caring for a diversity of patients both medically, cosmetically, and surgically.
Dr. Bird is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has published several papers in general dermatology and dermatopathology. She has also presented at both regional and national dermatology meetings.
Prior to Brown University, Dr. Bird trained as a medical intern at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was awarded the Merck Award for Academic Excellence as well as the Samuel Spiegel, M.D. Memorial Award for clinical honors. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, where she served as the chapter’s vice president.
Dr. Bird is originally from Mountain Home, Idaho, and received her undergraduate degrees in Business Finance and Mathematics from the University of Idaho. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters as well as staying fit.
