“Dr Ko is intuitive and a great listener. He seemed to 'get me' very quickly, which made our conversation easy. He wanted to make a change in my meds very quickly, and explained clearly why. I was 'shopping' for a new psychiatrist after mine retired, and I felt immediately comfortable and trusting with Dr Ko.”

Westwood Minds believes that part of good healthcare practice is to establish and communicate a financial policy to our patients. We are committed to providing the best possible care for you, and we want you to completely understand our financial policy. We do not accept or bill insurance. You are ultimately responsible for payment in full, and if you have health insurance, they may reimburse you in part or all of your payment, but you the patient are solely responsible for payment. The fee for an initial consultation and all 50-60 minute psychotherapy sessions is $600 per 60 minute visit (longer visits based on this rate per 60 minutes). All sessions are 30-60 minutes in length although sometimes the first evaluation may be extended and pro-rated accordingly. For evaluation-only sessions that require specific letters of either accommodation or forensic report, the rate will be $800 per hour plus $800 per page beyond 2 pages or reports. At times it is clinically beneficial or necessary for psychotherapy sessions to be supplemented by collateral services. Superbills are mailed out at the end of sessions, and payment is expected prior to psychiatry sessions.

Great doc, prescribed meds on a Friday and we were given no way to co tact him when the meds had a negative effect. He doesn’t check emails or voicemails of the number he gives patients. He was great in session.

Dr. Je Ko is a wonderful, personable, caring, compassionate physician who listened to everything I had to say and have the patience to sort through my psychiatric problems. After same five to seven doctors over a period of 5 years, my problems were never resolved. However, after seeing Dr Ko, I am making tremendous progress. Would totally recommend this doctor to anyone.
Dr. Ko is an exceptional psychiatrist who deserves a solid 5-star review. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt at ease due to Dr. Ko's welcoming demeanor and genuine care for my well-being. His expertise in the field was evident as he listened attentively to my concerns and provided insightful guidance during my initial consultation. Throughout our sessions after the initial consult, Dr. Ko demonstrated a remarkable ability to analyze complex situations and offer practical solutions. I have become a more independent, strong, and passionate individual due to my ongoing sessions with him. I highly recommend Dr. Ko to anyone seeking top-notch psychiatric care who genuinely cares and makes a difference in your life.
Dr. Ko is absolutely amazing! My child has been seeing him for the past month, and the progress is incredible. The weekly play therapy in the specially designed room for kids has worked wonders. My kid is having so much fun while improving her speech and communication skills. The reduction in tantrums is a huge bonus. I'm thrilled to see the positive impact on her interactions with peers. I will definitely continue taking my child to Dr. Ko for the fantastic care and results he provides. Five stars all the way!
Super helpful and great communication. 10/10

I'm so happy to have Dr. Ko as my psychiatrist. I highly recommend him! He's given me new ADHD meds that are really working well for me.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting a psychiatrist who provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. Dr. Ko's background in Harvard training showcased his exceptional competence and expertise. His knowledge and skills were truly top-notch, making me feel confident in his ability to provide the best possible care. Not only did I receive the highest level of professional care, but the value I received for my investment was exceptional. Dr. Ko's fees were reasonable and provided great worth for the quality of service I received. The office itself was impressive, featuring a clean and modern interior that created a soothing environment. The attention to detail in maintaining a well-kept space was evident, and it added to the overall ambiance of serenity. I highly recommend this psychiatrist to anyone seeking the best of the best in mental health care. From the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left, I felt heard, understood, and supported.
I am incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Ko as my psychiatrist. He is an amazing professional who always prioritizes his patients. From our first session, he actively listened and asked the right questions to effectively understand and treat my unique needs. Dr. Ko never rushed our appointments, creating a safe and welcoming space for me to share my struggles. His knowledge and expertise are exceptional, combined with a compassionate and empathetic approach. Not only is he a skilled professional, but Dr. Ko is also kind and compassionate. His genuine concern for my well-being was evident in every interaction. He consistently went above and beyond to support and understand me. I highly recommend Dr. Ko for his patient-focused approach, dedication, and expertise. I feel incredibly fortunate to have him as my psychiatrist, and I encourage anyone seeking personalized and effective mental health care to choose him.
Highly recommend!!!!! Dr. Ko is the best Psych I’ve had. I feel heard and listened to during our sessions. He’s very compassionate and you can feel he has a real passion for purpose. I’m used to the typical question battery for the initial session and check-ins that seem more mathematical than personal. In part, I understand this approach since psychiatrists are few and far between and are always pressed for time to meet their demand. However, Dr. Ko doesn’t seem to have let this tarnish his patient care which I think is a rarity anymore. I’d recommend Dr. Ko to anyone looking to address their mental health concerns.
