I am Jean-Jeffrey Marcellus, DNP, PMHNP-BC, AGNP-BC, NRCME, a Doctoral-prepared, Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Adult Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in Adult Health and Addiction Medicine. I earned my Master’s in Adult Nursing from Long Island University, Brooklyn. I specialize in the treatment of substance use disorders using Medication Assisted Treatment and focus on managing ADHD, mood disorders, insomnia, and pain. I have extensive experience supporting individuals in their recovery journeys from alcohol, benzodiazepines, opiates, heroin, kratom, and other pain medications. I work hard to create customized, personalized plans to support each patient’s sobriety journey. Understanding the challenges patients face in accessing healthcare, especially during the pandemic, I honed my skills in telemedicine to ensure care remains accessible. I am culturally sensitive, enabling me to serve a diverse patient population effectively.
