About Dr. Jean Pierre Valette

I was born and raised in the Bay Area in Kentfield, CA. I ventured East for boarding school at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire followed by college at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where I earned a degree in neuroscience. During my time in college, I was a Division III springboard diver and played on the ultimate frisbee team. I attended UCSD for medical school and completed my family medicine residency at UCSD before traveling to OHSU in Portland, OR for my sports medicine fellowship. I see Higher Self Health as a solution for the challenges I observed from my patients I worked with in a traditional health system. A direct care, membership based model allows for time and space for real healing and wellness. Higher Self Health allows me to share the wisdom of my own journey directly with my patients.
