New clients should know that my approach is calm, structured, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. The first goal is to understand what you are experiencing, how symptoms are affecting your daily life, and what kind of support will be most helpful. I value clear communication, diagnostic clarity, medication safety, and shared decision-making. Treatment may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, education about symptoms and treatment options, and practical strategies to support emotional wellness, focus, sleep, and daily functioning. What is your typical process for working with clients? The first session is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We review current symptoms, mental health history, medical history, medications, sleep, mood, anxiety, focus, trauma history when relevant, safety concerns, and treatment goals. After the evaluation, we discuss diagnostic impressions, treatment options, medication considerations if appropriate, and next steps. Follow-up visits focus on monitoring symptoms, medication response, side effects, progress toward goals, and any adjustments needed to support stability and improved functioning.
