About Dr. Jean Weijen Yuan

I became a pediatrician because I love helping people and truly enjoy working with kids. In high school, I volunteered in various roles, including assisting pediatric patients. The connection I felt working with families inspired me to pursue medicine. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and completed my residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital. I love having kids as my patients because they bring so much energy and resilience. I feel grateful to work with whole families, helping them navigate both everyday and challenging situations. I support families wherever they are and partner with them every step of the way. My approach to care is preventative, using medicine as little as possible while treating each child as a whole person. I address every aspect of a child's well-being, not just their physical health. I want families to know that I value partnership above all and am here to be part of their team.
