I am a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with extensive experience in psychiatric care. I hold a Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, as well as a Master's in Nursing, and an Associate's degree from Prince George's Community College. I provide comprehensive outpatient treatment for individuals with various mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, and mood disorders, to name a few. With an open-minded and personable approach, I conduct mental health evaluations, deliver behavioral treatments, coordinate care, offer supportive therapy, and facilitate referrals for specialized treatment as needed.

I have a firm understanding of medications, their safety considerations, effects on my patients. I always create a supportive environment that tends to my patient's needs. My patient's comfort and well-being are my priority.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I emphasize building rapport and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I take a compassionate, open-minded, and solution-focused approach. My goal is to empower clients by providing insight, coping strategies, and practical tools to help them manage their mental health effectively.

Jeane is very to the point, but it leaned on the side of judgemental. Getting mental health help should ideally be a place where you can grow and that does mean being faced with hard truths, but trusting someone for the first time with sensitive topics and being made to feel bad about them during the first meeting could potentially shut someone down to ever reaching out again.

I had an excellent experience with Jeane. She was patient, thorough, and truly listened to my concerns before recommending treatment. I never felt rushed or dismissed. Starting an SSRI can feel intimidating, but she explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and supported. The NP was over 30 minutes late for my scheduled appointment. When I finally talked to her, she prescribed meds that once I looked up after our call, I realized are quite dangerous and not for the issues I'm experiencing. Definitely look elsewhere.

I just felt like a patient. I felt like she listened but didn’t I feel like she just gave me a rehearsed diagnosis and just pitched me medication she didn’t have any other options or provided any alternatives just meds. I felt it was very impersonal and I won’t be taking that medication. I will be talking with another doctor today she just didn’t make me feel comfortable with her diagnosis
