About Dr. Jeff Gelband
Jeff Gelband, DC received his Bachelor of Science in biology, with a minor in chemistry from Northern Illinois University in 2012. After that he attended National University of Health Sciences, where he graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2017. Dr. Gelband has been practicing since 2017 and has taken over 300 hours of continuing education in the topics of nutrition, functional medicine and advanced diagnosis. Dr. Gelband frequently treats problems related to cardiovascular health, digestive health, hormonal issues, and more. He has a special interest in issues effecting the digestive system such as heart burn, indigestion, and irritable bowel syndrome. Dr. Jeff Gelband currently serves as a MSgt in the Illinois Air National Guard. He began his military service in 2004 and has served in multiple locations, including two deployments to Afghanistan. Dr. Jeff is also a BLS CPR instructor, training and certifying military members in CPR.

Booked through Zoc Doc and was told my appointment was accepted. Then the next morning, as I was getting ready for the appointment, I received an email (not even a phone call) from the office to alert me that Zoc Doc doesn’t sync with their system and that someone else had the appointment time. I was referred to a link to rebook with the provider whose availability is a month out! Ridiculous. Don’t offer Zoc Doc if you’re not going to sync bookings.

Dr. Gelband is extremely nice and has such a vast knowledge base! We checked to make sure my vitamin levels we where they needed to be, especially my Vitamin D levels during the harsh Chicago winter!
