The office visit was fine. However when it comes to communication post-appointment, it is very poor.
I needed information regarding test results and still 2 weeks later I have not received any contact from their office. I have to constantly call and leave voicemails and hope that they call back. One representative called me back but since that was not her usual workstation she recommended that I contact their office through MyChart texting. So I did. The communication was very slow and often had very vague answers. I found myself consistently having to ask a million questions just to get some simply clarity on my test results and what I should do about them. No one was very willing to provide me with any answers.

I personally have been having a struggle with obtaining a new primary care physician. After my original physician, retired I was referred to Zocdoc to find a new physician and I was able to book an appointment with Dr. Gullett. I really thoroughly enjoyed my appointment. She was very thorough, very considerate, and answered every question that I had, and the office staff was completely professional very quick. The process was so easy I absolutely loved it. The only thing that would prevent me from returning or making her my primary care would be the fact that the office is so far from my house other than that I absolutely loved this practice.

Dr.Gullett was very nice, professional and listened to all of my concerns. She provided extensive feedback and was able to get the referrals I needed to help with my issues. Definitely recommend her for PCP!

Office was very clean and Nurse staff was very kind and friendly. Unfortunately can’t say the same about the doctor. Upon entry to the room I wasn’t met with a proper greeting or even asked how I was. The doctor did not even bother to review info given to the nurse about my recent hospitalization. I was deeply insulted by her insinuations about my condition that she Would have known the details of had she bothered looking at the info given or asking me before making assumptions. My complaints about pain were brushed off and all of this happened in a span of 15 min. This experience has not only tainted my experience with Houston Methodist but discouraged me from seeking help for my condition. I went to seek answers and a possible diagnosis and left sad and disappointed. The only thing that made this experience remotely positive was her kind nursing staff.
