About Jeffrey Barone

Twenty years ago, I began my academic journey at the University of Arizona as an undergraduate. I then earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. In 2010, my wife Sarah and I returned to Tucson to open a private practice. After a few years of practicing Chiropractic Medicine, I chose to expand my scope of practice and returned to the University of Arizona in 2012 to study Nursing. This path culminated in my Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, supported by a Master's in Nursing Practice from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. Sarah and I worked side by side in our private, multidisciplinary clinic on the Northwest side of Tucson until the fall of 2024, when I decided to join Optima Medical. This next chapter of my career offers a welcome change, allowing me to focus solely on patient care rather than the day-to-day concerns of business ownership.
