I’ve never had such a terrible and unsatisfactory doctors visit of any type that was so bad that I needed to go back and ask for a refund. I went in to meet Dr Crespin after finding him on ZocDoc and explained that I was feeling chest pain, heartburn, and had trouble swollowing/overall throat pain. I had a feeling that it was caused by a workout supplement i was trying. All he did was google search the workout supplement and the symptoms and print out an article of other cases. It was like pulling teeth to get him to address everything and go more into depth than the article that i’ve already found myself online. He called a prescription based on the drugs mentioned in said article, but i had to call duane reade to find out what they were because he never even wrote them down for me. Rushed in and out. Incredibly disappointing and no personal touch whatsoever. I have throat pain and he didn’t even look at my throat!!! I’ve never left a bad review for anything in my entire life because i understand that this is someone’s living, but I was so insanely appalled by how terrible of an experience that was. Really let down and it was even worse that this was the last possible appointment i could find online for any doctor on a friday, now i need to wait all weekend through the pain to hopefully find another doctor who would pay even slightly more attention than Dr Crespin

Dr. Crespin is an excellent physician! He genuinely cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to make sure they get the help that they need. His staff, including Frank and Lucy, also go above and beyond. I highly recommend this practice.

I was 10 minutes late so I think that's why I was waiting, service was fast and Dr. Crespin was gentle and nice, I like this location, is very convenient that he can see me at any of his offices all over the city. Staff very friendly and nice.

Dr. Crespin has been extremely effective in identifying solutions to my gastro-related issues. I really enjoy that he's welcoming and very knowledgeable about a robust range of gastro-related subject matter. Not to mention, he's NYU affiliated and willing to critically think / help define what others may passover as he takes the extra time. Always come prepared to ask questions, and take notes about what he says as there can be a wealth of information presented that won't be relayed to the practitioners in the office. Overall, five stars.

The appointment lasted less than 10 minutes including 2-3 minutes he had to go out in the middle of my visit. The worst part was that he didn't seem to be focused in my case and at the end I didn't get any diagnosis.

He had me do a colonoscopy before a blood test which was bizzare. He also still has no idea what is wrong with me and doesn’t seem to care.

I've been seeing Dr. Crespin consistently for the last few months. I had changed my GP to Dr. Crespin because I had seen him once and preferred him over my previous GP. There's usually a minimal wait time and Dr. Crespin listens to your concerns and works with you to find a solution.

Not a great gastro. Pushes for endoscopy without listening to your symptoms or history. Endoscopy is an invasive procedure & I would have liked to be heard and be provided options for other tests. I went to another doctor & it turned out I have hpylori without the need for an endoscopy! Ask your questions, get second opinions & before you do procedures research your symptoms!

I liked Dr. Crespin enough to make him my Primary Care Physician. There’s not a lot of wait time to see him when you have an appt., he listens to your concerns, makes a recommendation and finds a solution with you. He is also likeable which I personally think is important.

The front desk was not helpful, they were not sure whether my insurance was accepted, and I had to sign on other document to be sure the clinic can transfer whatever amount from my credit card... The doctor was okay, but he was for sure not among those I favorite doctors who care patients more.

I had a severe gastro problem - bloating to the size of Santa Claus when I ate ANYTHING; no bowel movements and little urination; and severe and constant pain.I found a local Gastro, who was very nice, He took my blood pressure, blood and stool samples, examined me thoroughly and booked me for a CT Scan after discussing some options of what it may or may not be that was causing this sudden illness. However, his office later informed me he did not take my insurance, so I needed to find another Gastro. I saw Dr Crespin because he was listed as a PCP AND as a Gastroenterologist, and I needed both. He refused to take me on as a PCP and without touching me booked me for a 2-days-later colonoscopy, telling me to drink only fluids and then a large amount of some laxative the night before. Being over 50, I said OK, but still needed my initial illness treated. I had the colonoscopy, he returned and said I was "all clear" and sing-sang "we'll be in touch" as he strolled away from my bed. "Hey", I shouted, "I still have this problem - I can't go to the bathroom without a laxative the day before, can barely urinate and am in constant pain and bloated.!" "Try Prilosec" he shouted back as he left the open ward. Prilosec is for acid reflux, not a gastro-blockage, which it transpires is most likely a parasite in my case. He has the bedside manner of a goat who sees you as another money-filled opportunity to do a colonoscopy...and nothing else. Don't be fooled by his Harvard Degree on the wall - all the gangster's Lawyers in Jack Lemon/Marilyn Monroes's movie "Some Like it Hot" were "Ha'aavrd Men" - and they were money-hungry goats too! PS, the very nice gastro, who did not take my insurance, actually phoned with my results. Now THAT is a doctor who cares and believes in "First, do no harm..."

I visited Dr Crespin two weeks ago because of an illness. He took blood work and advised I would receive results by the end of that week. After 1.5 weeks, I still had not received results so I called his office to ask them to provide the results. I finally received the e-files but still have not been contacted by Dr. Crespin or anyone from his office directly regarding the results and a treatment plan. I called the office this afternoon and was informed by someone who sounds like he is at a call center that Dr Crespin would give me a call when he is in office. But yet still no word.... Two weeks with no follow up is unacceptable. I am planning to take my results to my previous primary care physician.

I've seen many Doctors in my life but this is the first time a doctor BARELY looked at me. He was training a young woman and explaining things to her about me instead of explaining things to me. It was the strangest experience. Dr. Crespin seemed like a decent person. He did not though take my history adequately. I find when a doctor does an odd thing he does not want me as a patient. I would never recommend him.
