Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo is an incredible doctor. And for the record, LASIK is the best thing I have ever done in my life. I chose Dr. Dello Russo because I wanted to go to the doctor that performs the high volume of LASIK procedures in the city. Dr. Dello Russo and his staff are very nice, but don't expect the red carpet to be rolled out for you. The office is very busy and wait times can be a little rough, but Dr. Dello Russo's skill and experience are worth it. The office can feel a little like a sales pitch but again, Dr. Dello Russo's experience is worth it. After having LASIK done, the team calls to check on you and are available via phone and text message for any questions. In my opinion, could put a little more effort into making the patient feel comfortable with such a large decision. Overall a great experience and recommend to everyone.

With extensive surgical experience in state-of-the-art LASIK procedures alongside his celebrated father and a long family history in refractive eye surgery, laser eye surgeon Dr. Jeff Dello Russo, of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, and New Jersey, is uniquely qualified to carry on the Dello Russo tradition of excellence in laser eye surgery.
A graduate of Tufts University in 1992, Dr. Jeff Dello Russo, received his medical degree from New York Medical College. He went on to complete his ophthalmology residency training at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York (a Columbia Presbyterian affiliate) and has completed his refractive fellowship training with the New Jersey Eye Center under the tutelage of his highly acclaimed father, laser eye surgeon, Dr. Joseph Dello Russo.
Dr. Jeff Dello Russo introduced with his father the “No blade laser vision correction” in 2002 and was the first laser surgeon to perform the procedure in the greater New York metropolitan area. He was the lead clinical site for a study of Dry Eye treatment using an eye drop treatment manufactured by Daiichi Pharmaceutical Company
Dr. Jeff Dello Russo and his father developed most of the treatment protocols which all laser surgeons are presently using for the best outcomes of both LASIK and PRK. Jeff takes a personalized approach to patient treatment and values, getting to know each patient on an individual basis. He will gladly sit down with you to discuss your treatment goals and desires, as well as answer any questions you may have and suggest the best treatment for your eyes.

i went friday evening for a consultation. from the waiting area in the lobby, i can see a surgery was going on in a room. it wasnt too long before i was led into a room for eye checkup. the assistant checked my eyes, and then i was led to another room to meet the doctor. The doctor acted weird. He spoke in a pompous way and the way he walked around and his his voice made me think he was drunk or something. definitely not normal. didn't go back there for the surgery.

I had LASIK with Dr Dello Russo back in February and it was the best decision I made! The procedure was quick and painless - just like they said. The Dr and all of his staff are very friendly, warm and certainly make you feel comfortable. The wait times can be a little more lengthy pending on the time you choose your appointment. The Dr is quite popular - and for good reason. I would recommend booking an appointment outside of the peak times. If you're going to do LASIK, buy your individual use eye drops in bulk BEFORE surgery. The Dr provides you with some but it isn't enough for the first couple days and you will blast through a ton in the first 48hrs. It's much cheaper if you get them on Amazon or at BJ's/Costco beforehand. Overall, I'm stoked about my LASIK and glad I chose Dr Dello Russo!

Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo and his staff are fantastic! First of all, Dr. Dello Russo performed the consultation himself. I went to other LASIK practices and met with a technician only. Second, I saved a few hundred dollars on a FREE consultation. Third, I was pleased to hear all of my 1000 questions answered. The surgery took only 5 minutes long and was completely pain free.
Re: office. Convenient location, very clean and felt "like home".

It was my first time @ Dello Russo Laser Vision at the Manhattan location. First, went there for a consultation of Lasik surgery. The staffs treated me really nice. Dr. Jeffrey was very kind and brief when discussing the Lasik Surgery. Overall, I recommend the doctor to any person looking for professional advice and treatment.

Dr. Jeffrey Russo was professional and efficient without being cold or overly formal. I highly recommend him. I went for an eye exam for glasses, but it appears that the main practice at this office is Lasic eye surgery. I worried I might have been wasting the doctor's time a bit.

Entire examination was done by a medical assistant who was not proficient at speaking English and did not notice that I was still wearing my contact lenses until I asked her, halfway through the exam, whether I should take them off. She also left the door to the room open the entire time, and there were other patients in adjacent rooms with their doors also open, so they could have heard everything I said about my medical history, which made me uncomfortable. The doctor was nice, but he spent less than 20 seconds actually looking at my eyes, and maybe 1.5 minutes in the room in total. Also, even though I made it clear at the beginning of my visit that I needed to renew my contact lens prescription, I was not told until the very end of my visit that their office actually doesn't do contact lenses. Waste of time and unsatisfactory eye exam.

I want to strongly recommend this office to anyone who WANTS to change their life. Dr. Dello Russo was very pleasant, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He made me very relaxed and calm. I am 100% satisfied with my results. I came in for a free consultation and decided to have surgery the same day.
In comparison with other offices, their office is clean and the staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and ready to answer your questions over and over again. Other offices always hang up on you or got irritated when you ask many questions. The procedure lasted only 8 minutes, and I was out of the door.
5 of my co-workers did LASIK surgery with Jeffrey Dello Russo. And I am very happy they recommended me to follow their steps.

I found him hard to read and not very informative. Seems like this may be the place to go for lasik but not for other conditions. He referred me to a specialist without saying much and I left feeling uneasy. I don't need doctors to hold my hand and call me "sweetie" ... but a warmer, friendlier, more understanding approach would have been greatly appreciated.

Office staff is good, helpful and on point. The Dr himself spent less than 5 minutes with me and was just marketing. I have not received any services from him (but a pitch), my entire exam was conducted by the staff.

I picked this place because it was recommended by my co-worker, because this office uses the best and the safest LASIK technology - bladeless. I saw Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo for a free LASIK consultation and he was amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and helped explain everything they were doing during my visit. I felt very comfortable and relaxed and decided to do my LASIK surgery at the same day.
They've been very flexible with regard to working with my insurance and finnacials. I truly appreciate the help of Tatiana. She was fantastic and super friendly. Make sure to ask for her assistance when you arrive.
I am 40-years old and I was wearing contacts for the past 10 years. I woke up today with a perfect vision and I am writing this review with no contacts or glasses. Wow!!! Thank you Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo for making this procedure pain free and fast!

The technician who did all the tests on my eyes, did not close the door, so I could see the patient across the hall, and he, me. I know it was only an eye exam, but I was asked lots of questions about my health, and family history, that I would have preferred to answer behind a closed door. It was also freezing in both rooms I was shown to.
