About Dr. Jeffrey E. Mait
Jeffrey E. Mait, M.D., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained sports medicine and general orthopedist, specializing in both minimally invasive and open treatments of sports injuries for athletes of all ages and skill levels, including professional, semiprofessional, and collegiate. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine, completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, and finished his fellowship in Orthopedic Sports and Arthroscopy at Sports Clinic Orthopaedic Medical Associates in Laguna Hills, CA. Dr. Mait joined Orlin & Cohen after completing his fellowship training.
An avid athlete himself, Dr. Mait understands what it takes to achieve your goal of playing at any level. He has lectured and written on a variety of orthopedic topics, including arthroscopic treatments of shoulder pathology, patient recovery following hip surgery, as well as Achilles tendon and fracture repair techniques.

My experience was very good.
Staff was pleasant. Although I did not have my insurance card they said to bring it the next time I come to the office. I guess they verified my insurance some other way.

The Dr & his PA Jessica were very informative about my situation! It was a pleasure and I have decided to change to be with them! Change is GOOD! I do cortisone shots, but will be willing to try Gel shots in about a month in my knees. I feel better already! I would gladly recommend them! I was seen at the time of my appointment. The staff was very attentive to my knee issue. I wasn't rushed. I had exrays and ultrasound to determine my treatment. Dr Mait and his staff were professional and friendly. I definitely would recommend him!
