Dr. Jeffrey B. Edwards, a sixth-generation Floridian, was born and raised in Clewiston, Florida. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, a dedicated rural family practitioner, Dr. Edwards attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he participated in basic science research with NIH-funded immunologists at Geovax, an early-stage pharmaceutical company developing novel HIV vaccine technology. He earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and pursued specialized vascular training at the University of South Florida (USF), where he received comprehensive training in both open vascular surgery and minimally invasive endovascular surgery. Dr. Edwards brings a wealth of expertise in vascular surgery, offering advanced care in both open arterial and venous procedures as well as endovascular techniques such as balloon angioplasty, stenting, arteriography, and thrombolysis. He also specializes in minimally invasive treatments for aortic aneurysms, pulmonary embolisms, and deep venous obstructions. Additionally, he collaborates on Advanced Multidisciplinary Spine Care to provide comprehensive solutions for complex conditions.
