About Dr. Jeffrey Lamp
Dr. Lamp believes that the most effective medicine starts with understanding each patient as a unique individual: mind, body, and spirit.
Jeffrey Lamp, MD earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his family medicine residency at Baton Rouge General Hospital, where he refined his approach to patient-centered, evidence-based care. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Lamp's clinical interests include chronic disease management, mental health, and the full spectrum of family medicine. Dr. Lamp is especially passionate about building long-term relationships with patients and supporting them through meaningful lifestyle changes. He creates a safe space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take control of their health.
Outside of work, Dr. Lamp enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their dogs, traveling to new destinations, and playing music. A former oboe performance major and a drummer in a band, he finds joy and creativity in both his medical practice and his musical hobbies.
