About Jelena Skopinceva

I am a registered dietitian, with a masters of science degree in nutrition education from Montclair State University, and I got my bachelor of science degree in dietetics from the same school. What makes me unique in this field is my own personal battle. My journey began when at fifteen years old one of my friends told me that I was getting fat. This one comment was the beginning of my learning journey. I bought one of my first diet books and joined my first step-aerobic class. Years went by, I became a personal trainer, and then a registered dietitian, completed a number of marathons, and participated in a few ironmans, including finishing Ironman World Championship in Hawai'i. I believe, you can do anything you set your mind to. If I could do it, so can anyone. I would love to show how.
