This was my first time at this doctor's office for an annual physical exam. Upon revision of the bloodwork, she didn't counsel me for my prediabetic A1C range. However, she wanted me to have my CBC retested for a slightly high WBC count. Once I told her that I wasn't interested in retesting my CBC within the week, that I would rather do it in 3 months, she basically got upset on the phone. She quickly ended the phone call and did not go over my groin ultrasound results or my troubling A1C result. Once I called back to go over my A1C result, the medical assistant told me that I was already counseled about it and that Dr. Thomas recommended me a low carb diet. This is false. I had high hopes for this doctor, but I will not be returning. I hope she doesn't push unnecessary blood work on other patients and truly counsels them with actual issues that may worsen. Please don't go here if you're a worrywart like me.

Dr. Thomas had fantastic bedside manner. She answered all my questions patiently and she is very knowledgeable. The front desk staff and the MA were also very kind and personable. I would highly recommend Dr. Thomas.
