About Dr. Jenna Borok
Dr. Borok is a board certified dermatologist specializing in pediatric, medical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is dedicated to providing excellent care to patients of all ages.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and completed a Master of Advanced Studies in Clinical Research at the San Diego campus. Dr. Borok began her postgraduate training with an Internal Medicine Internship at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She then completed her Dermatology Residency at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, part of Yeshiva University, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Following residency, Dr. Borok pursued a Fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital through Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Borok takes pride in building strong relationships with her patients. She prioritizes effective communication and takes the time to educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options. Understanding the unique needs of pediatric patients, she strives to create a comfortable and reassuring environment for them.
Actively involved in dermatological research, Dr. Borok has made significant contributions to the field, publishing manuscripts on the treatment of infantile hemangiomas, acne, and eczema.
Demonstrating leadership and a commitment to service, Dr. Borok is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology’s Access to Dermatologic Care Committee, advocating for improved access to dermatological care and raising awareness about health disparities. She has also volunteered her time and expertise at organizations such as Camp Wonder, providing essential dermatologic care and emotional support to children suffering from severe skin diseases.
