Her leadership was quickly recognized, and she served as Chief Ambulatory Resident at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center and New York Harbor Health. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she also held a leadership role as Chief Ambulatory Fellow. With her background in both primary care and specialty medicine, Dr. Gibilaro brings a uniquely thorough, whole-person approach to patient care at Sanford Family Care Center. My visit to Sandford Family Care Center was gratifying. The front end staff were welcoming, polite, accommodating and has excellent communication skills. Dr. Gibilaro is professional, patient, understanding and always takes the time to answer and discuss any concerns you may have. It was indeed a pleasure to visit Sandford Family Care Center.
