Getting to know Jenna Manzione
I am Jenna Manzione, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner providing outpatient and telehealth psychiatric care. My training includes psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner education at La Salle University, a Master of Science in Nursing in Education from Chamberlain University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing.
I conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide medication management with careful follow-up and monitoring. My background as a behavioral health nurse includes caring for adolescents, adults, and older adults during acute psychiatric crises, as well as providing triage, safety assessments, therapeutic group support, and discharge planning. I collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated care.
I believe effective mental health care begins with listening. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I take time to understand each patient's experiences, explain treatment options clearly, and make decisions together. My goal is to help patients feel respected and supported while working toward improved mental health and lasting well-being.
