About Dr. Jennifer Balfour

My training, including medical school at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, and residency in Family Medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, has prepared me to provide comprehensive care in my specialty of Family Medicine. I also hold a Bachelor's degree from City University of New York, City College. With over 16 years of experience in Women's Health, Urgent Care, and Family Medicine, I am committed to educating patients and the community about their health and medicine to improve outcomes. I am a firm believer in patient advocacy and rights. It is always important for patients to understand the reasons behind their treatments and to have an additional voice if they feel their needs are not being met.
