About Jennifer Berndt
Jennifer Berndt is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with Women’s Care. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Her career goal, even as a child, was to work in women’s health. She began her career more than fifteen years ago as a registered nurse on the labor and delivery unit at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL, and then St. Joseph’s Hospital-South in Riverview, FL.
Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree from the State College of Florida and her master’s degree from Chamberlain University. She holds a certification in fetal monitoring through the National Certification Corporation and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
She has been married for twenty years and is a busy mother of three children. In her free time she spends time with her family and three dogs as well as enjoys traveling and writing short stories.

Dr. Berndt was super friendly and made me feel like I’ve known her forever! We were able to laugh, talk about the serious stuff and made my visit feel comfortable. Listened - didn’t rush & answered all my questions. Excited to see her the rest of my pregnancy!

I explained when i booked why i wanted to be seen i even called the office to confirm my concerns. When i arrived it was like the provider didn't want to see me or talk to me at all. She basically told the front desk to get rid of me. Awful customer service. Sent a million emails and text to confirm my appointment then when i arrived didnt want to see me because i was just seen Oct. I explained something has changed medically and i have new insurance and she said we'll do a pregnacy test. Um, I'm not pregnant, can i speak with the providet please. Front desk just looked at me and said she's not doing an exam. I asked to speak to the provider and front desk just looked at me. Didn't move. Unprofessional. Poor customer service! I canned to a new provider outside woman's care. My last exam before this was rushed and incomplete. No best exam our anything my concerns blown off. Over it!

It was my first time going here considering my last two days pregnancies were in Orlando practices. jennifer Berndt was funny, attentive, and caring! It was a great first experience...the wait time was a little long but it was understandable considering the statistics of Hillsborough country maternal care.

All staff was kind and courteous! Great care and service from my APRN. She was very intuitive and engaged when I shared our families excitement. This is out first child and both our mothers first grandchild so we have been on high alert in regards to what steps to take. I've been coming to Woman's care well before this pregnancy began and have always received quality treatment. I would highly recommend to newcomers and already have friends and family who love Woman's Care FL.
