About Dr. Jennifer Connor
Dr. Jennifer Connor has joined our staff at Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Centers after completing a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research in Houston, Texas. She specializes in operative and non-operative foot and ankle care, which includes trauma, sports related injuries, tendon injuries, arthritis, and deformities of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Connor obtained her medical degree from the Rush University Medical College in Chicago. She completed her Orthopaedic Surgery residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During residency Dr. Connor was a two time recipient of the AOA award for excellence in teaching. She received awards for outstanding performance in hand surgery, as well as the Robert O. Ray award for basic Orthopaedic Research. Her research has been presented at both regional and national Orthopaedic meetings. During her fellowship, Jennifer served as a team doctor for Rice University Athletics. She also assisted in the foot and ankle care of the Houston Texans, Rockets, and Astros.
Dr. Connor also has a strong interest in volunteer work. She has done several orthopaedic missions. She has travelled to Colombia with the Shriners Childrens Hospitals to provide orthopaedic care to children. While in Nigeria Jennifer worked with the organization Doctors Without Borders providing orthopaedic surgical care.

Dr. Connor is a caring physician and surgeon. She explained everything on my dad’s x-ray to me and asked if we had any concerns. We did not feel rushed in our appointment with her. The front office was friendly although we had to wait before anyone would greet us since there was nobody stationed there.

Dr Connor was kind, direct and reviewed all options with me. She reviewed my scans with me. Her exam was thorough. Office staff were good. I booked my visit through Zocdoc but the office did not have my name on their list. Not sure if their needs to be better communication between office and Zocdoc. They did get me in to see the doctor in a reasonable time.

Dr. Connor was great! However, I waited 15 mins. before getting checked in because the receptionist did not check me in from the list. I went to the front desk and asked her why were other people being checked in when I arrived first and signed in? She didn't even realize I was there. Then when I got home and looked at my referral it states that I am a "male" when I am clearly a female. Besides this, I love Dr. Conner. She is awesome.

The office staff were very helpful when there was a problem with my insurance. They were accommodating with my request that their insurance person speak with my insurance company to solve the issue.
I had appointments at both Offices in Chicago and found the staff at both to be very helpful, polite and efficient.
Dr. Connor was professional, supportive and very proactive in treating my problem. I would recommend her to any one having an injury to their ankle or foot.
