About Jennifer Derfel

As a dietitian with a Master’s in Nutrition and an Internship in Dietetics from City University of New York, Lehman College, I educate, empower, and provide you with the tools needed to create new eating habits and promote positive lifestyle changes that are sustainable and realistic. Using a client-centered approach, I offer individualized nutrition counseling for people of all ages. There is no “one size fits all” solution when it comes to achieving health. My areas of focus include weight management, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, eating disorders, autoimmune conditions, cancer, gastrointestinal diseases, pre/post bariatric surgery counseling, food allergies and sensitivities, pregnancy, breastfeeding, postpartum care, pediatrics and adolescents, picky eating, and baby-led weaning.
